Once upon a time in a sleepy Italian village, two little boys, Ennio and Sergio, grow up to be very close friends as well as fearless men of honor and talented hitmen. As time passes, both men lose sight of each other. However, when, many years later, Sergio strays and ends up upsetting the commission, their paths cross again. To restore order and maintain peace among the families, Don Santino requests Ennio to get rid of Sergio. Thorn between his sense of duty and his unrelenting bond with Sergio, Ennio sets out to do what is expected of him. Yet, Sergio knows his friend is coming, raising the stakes to life and death.
