Abdelinho (2021)

Engulfed in strict moral and religious beliefs, while pressed by his mother and by a local sham Iman in a small Moroccan town, a young man grows to become a faithful fan of the Brazilian culture, soccer, samba, soap operas, as a way to escape his confined day by day routine. In the process, he fells in love with the main character of the soap opera he watches daily in his satellite TV - a young member of the Brazilian parliament, equally harassed by a local and corrupting contractor. Thrust by love, their lives mingle, surpassing all physical borders
