In time of the pandemic, a woman endeavors to keep her family together at all cost. But one family member, Pip - working as a nurse to provide for them - lives in the United Kingdom. July (Ate), makes sure that the rest of the family, her aging parents and her sister's only daughter - 8-year-old Loureine, are safe from the virus. When Pip is infected by the virus because of her work, July calls her every day to watch over her until she recovers even if it we're just online through video calls. July keeps a strong front for all. But when her mother's brother, her uncle dies of cancer, July - a filmmaker - is forced to risk her own safety to film the wake and the funeral. The experience of seeing her parent's pain and grief wears down her brave front. She realizes that no matter what she does, death is always on the prowl to take a loved one. Despite that, she decides to persevere and accept life's harsh realities. That no matter how bleak it may seem, love for family and hope in God, is more than enough to help see them through these dark times of uncertainty.
