Love Letter Templates, a feature length animated narrative produced and shot entirely in San Francisco's most recognizable landmarks between 2001 to 2009, is a series of thirteen music video short stories that intertwine the lives of millennials lost in San Francisco's dark dive bars and night clubs during the 2000s.This film was produced with both fictional depictions as well as documentary footage of the afterparty scene. Inspired by true events, the story begins with a young Cronos, an LSD dealing young feral kid, on the day when his older sister shares with him a letter she found from their estranged father. This letter would continue to haunt him into adulthood as he grows into an absentee father himself grappling with drug addiction and deteriorating mental health. Stella, his ex, is bright, beautiful, and an up-and-coming designer moving forward with her career but she is lost in nightlife and chase after scene boys, like Tron, a popular character in the boisterous club scene. He plays in a band and all the girls throw themselves at him but he only has one person he can commit to-himself. Come along for a ride on their fantastic voyage of debauchery, decadence, and deviance as they navigate through the broken homes, broken dreams, and broken hearts of the city's post rave/proto-hipster renaissance of the new millennium when bike messengers and yuppies would snort together in dive bar bathrooms while the sideways haircuts in trucker hats and white belt fashionistas bump and grind to Danzig on the dance floor every single night of the week at the strike of midnight.
