She is stuck in a cycle...a loop - of fantasy pitting itself against reality. Knowing the harm her obsession is causing, her unquenchable need to belong keeps her perpetuating a self-destructing cycle. These two inner desires fight and battle to the bitter end. #BeingMyTrueAuthenticSelf is a short film that ultimately highlights a social and cultural issue that is destroying the lives of so many young women across the globe.
