Int. Diner - Night

A waitress watches a detective show on TV as she works in an American diner in the mid 1990s. She is bored and sad in her monotonous life of serving customers in the run down lonely diner. Watching an old TV as she works, the waitress becomes obsessed with a glamorous detective story she sees on her screen. One day the characters from her detective show enter the diner and her real world becomes her fantasy as she becomes entwined with the TV story she has been watching.
