Agent of New Worlds: A Star Trek Fan Production (2021)

Starfleet scientist Mikaela Allenby crashes her shuttle on a planet while on an unauthorized rescue mission for engineering prodigy Ahyoka, who crashed there previously. Immediately after the two women manage to destroy the alien device that has been disrupting technical equipment around the planet, they are beamed to the USS Excalibur, where they are needed to research an anomaly. In an epilogue it emerges that the ship's previous captain and first officer, Lance Ramirez and Amanda Beck, had disappeared without a trace and that the anomaly is connected to the 'cosmic stream' aliens who were behind the deaths and subsequent reappearance of Derek Mason and Jamie Archer, who had salvaged the ship years ago.
