Smoothie and Sweetz Hometown hero Stevie Charlies gets honorably discharged from The US army and is learning how to be a citizen in America, and no longer a 82nd Airborne Ranger. Stacy Gutierrez just moved back home from living with her hip-hop Star boyfriend. She's determined to take care of her daughter and move out of her hometown once again. She's reminded everyday why she left this one horse town in the first place. Stevie was a troubled youth before enlisting in the Service, he's finding out that the war back at home was incomparable with its own casualties and lists. Upon visiting one of his battle buddies he falls asleep talking to his best friends gave. Stacy is placing flowers at her Grandma's gravesite when she hears the tortured rumbles a few feet away from her. When she walks upon to inquire about the origin of the pained sounds, she finds Stevie crumbled in a ball mumbling in his sweat-soaked slumber.
