Agamemnoon (1975)

The ancient drama by Aeschylos in a filmed performance by group De Appel from the Netherlands. Agamemnon returns home when the Trojan war is finally over. All is not well at home, though. All-male cast from De Appel. Classical theatre would stay on their repertoire throughout the life of the group. The set is also typical of their work: it's alternative rather than literal, it's almost abstract, but not simple.
