Bios... The Other Way (2019)

In Thessaloniki, a city deeply affected by the economic crisis, over 420 citizens joined forces and under the slogan "We take our food in our hands" created the non-profit Social Consumer Cooperative Bios Coop, which offers local products without mediators since 2013. Its operation is based on the principles of direct democracy and social and solidarity economy, suggesting a different business model. It is an example that shows us "other ways" for the future.
