Blue Canaries (2023)

It's a sweltering hot Christmas night in Melbourne, and a quick-tempered probationary constable is in real trouble. After spending all night tracking down a desperate teenage drug dealer, she and her seasoned senior officer find themselves caught in a standoff with their quarry. As the deadly impasse plays out, we watch how the two officers caught up to him with help from the host of crooks, lowlifes, and legends on their beat. As they investigate their case, we search for clues as to what went wrong, and how they might prevent another death on their watch.
