Chevrotine (2022)

Pierre is a fisherman. His wife died four years ago. Now he lives alone with his two sons in the house they share on the Breton coast. Laura works in an ophthalmologist's office, but her passion is painting. She came to Brittany from Paris with her son after separating from his father. Here she meets Pierre. The two fall in love and she soon moves in with him. But the shadow of the past lies over them: Pierre's late wife's presence is palpable everywhere in the house. Laura can't stand this and begins to doubt. Her dream world collides with his reality. Then Laura becomes pregnant: a little girl, Automne, is born. But Laura and Pierre are moving further and further away from each other. Only Automne still holds the two together. When Laura puts the little girl in danger with her behavior, Pierre sees red.
