Salesman (2018)

The short is an offhand bad 70s film that follows an Italian watch salesman named Lenny Finklestein. When Lenny is given an eviction notice he has no choice but to take a job from the mafia. At the same time he has a transsexual best friend named only Ricky. While the film does portray the 1970s it actually takes place in 1996, which in itself is genius. The reason being is that it completely works with the film seeing as some characters use flip phones. The film did not skip a beat on the costuming as each character down to the extras wears very specific clothing that represents their characters well. Lenny's brown color palette is done so well that you can't see him wearing anything else. Each character has their own gimmick, Lenny has a constant stutter, Ricky is constantly annoyed but submissive, Vellucci is stern and professional, and the man seen in the red suit is just smarter than most. And the dialogue between the two cops at the end is so realistic.
