Montagnes de rêve: le Mont-Blanc (1999)

2nd episode. The climb takes place over two days. We must first climb Aiguille du Goûter at the top of which is located, at 3,817 meters above sea level, the refuge of Goûter, a small metal box where we spend the night. 1,500 meters of ascent with the most technically challenging passages. 2 o'clock in the morning, the alarm goes off and Carole Dechantre with Jean Paul Lemercier head to the flank of the Dôme du Goûter by the light of their head-lamps. At the first rays of sun, the Bosses Ridge is illuminated. Already the surrounding mountains seem smaller. A last effort and finally we reach the summit of the Mont Blanc, the roof of the Alps, 4,810 meters above sea level.
