The Drifting Post (2018)

There is a post box in the mountains in Iwate Prefecture, which was hit by the earthquake and tsunami. The post box was placed there hoping it would help cure hearts and spirits that were injured following the tsunami. One could write a letter to those who are dead as a result of the tsunami that devastated the area. The original idea was to provide therapy for those who have dead friends and relatives from the tsunami, but the letters are sent to any and all people affected by tragedy, calamity or disease now. Following the 2011 tsunami in Japan a girl who has lost her best friend has a hard time accepting the loss. She finds a time capsule one day, which she and her best friend had made. There are letters inside.
