The Milliner (2016)

In the SCAD-produced film, The Milliner, a fictional hat designer walks us through her unconventional and whimsical creative process. Playfully imagining the magical functionality of hats, this short film interweaves a clever mix of stop-motion animation, live-action video and post-production manipulation. Narration, music and mixed visuals take us on an entertaining and informative journey that teaches the history of the headpiece as our quirky imagined character charms and delights with her hat obsession.
