Smith's Way Out

Smith's Way Out is a film based on political, social and cultural awareness. The film highlights systemic issues in the African American community such as police brutality, racism and systematic injustices. Our main protagonist is a high school senior Ryan Smith. Smith and his mother, are coping after the death of his older brother. Throughout the film, Smith is manipulated by gang affiliates in relation to Cameron's death. Smith is given a choice as he decides to enter the dark side. Thoughts of seeking revenge arise. The stakes become high and life threatening for Smith as NYPD gets involved.
