Šentilj-Spielfeld - Border Crossing That Once Was (2009)

Setilj-Spielfeld once witnessed endless crossings of Turkish, Greek, Iranian, Bulgarian and other immigrants and tourists. In 2007 the border crossing was closed. The customs facilities are partly demolished, commercial and administrative buildings are deserted. Only a few road restaurants remain, with very few guests, including truck drivers and workers.
