-On a beautiful afternoon, Felix is spinning his kite. It is windy enough for the activity to go well. Gradually, the wind starts to change direction and pushes his kite close to the White Birch smoke. The wind gains strength and Felix loses his grip on the kite. The toy begins to fly out of control towards the smoke, as if it were being sucked into it. Felix resents the smoke for stealing his afternoon and decides to make an enemy of it. He takes a moment to contemplate its immensity, as if to assess its weaknesses.
