Arrangement (2019)

As usual, Rex has come to pick up his friend Jessie, and also as usual, Rex, and Graham, the overnight security guard, are texting across the parking area while Rex is waiting for Jessie to come out. When Jessie arrives, all of a sudden Rex needs to go to the bathroom, making Jessie wait, but Rex promises to be quick. When Rex gets to the bathroom, Graham is waiting. They do what is expected, standing up, but as they are finishing, Rex asks for something which Graham is unable or unwilling to give. An unexpected conversation ensues, and they sit down to talk. Will their arrangement change? Does Graham want it to change? Will their feelings get in the way of their arrangement? Why does something so simple and so regular suddenly become unexpected, and so complicated? And why does Graham feel guilty?
