Airing on October 27, 1991, John Astin of "The Addams Family" hosts this Halloween special showcasing thirteen of the worst horror movies from the 1930s to the 1970s; the most recent being "Blood Song" and "The Loch Ness Horror", both from 1982. The movies include "Night of the Living Dead," "The Horror Express," "The Terror," "The Devil's Nightmare" and four of Bela Lugosi's worst films, namely "The Corpse Vanishes," "The Human Monster" "The Invisible Ghost" and "The Ape-Man." Astin is joined by comedian Bobby Kelton and actress Rhonda Shear, who make humorous comments on the low quality and bad plots of the movies (sometimes even responding to the characters in the flicks), and writer S.D. Nemeth, who adds his own comments and responses to the other hosts. Singer Bobby Pickett also appears to sing "Monster Mash" in a music video filmed with interstitial shots and scenes of the movies being criticized.
