A Place for Us (2024)

Asad and Joe are fourth year medical students who will soon graduate from medical school. Joe is at the beginning of his emergency medicine rotation in a new and unfamiliar city when he meets Asad, who helps Joe adapt to the new hospital. Asad invites Joe to take a break from his rotation and explore the city, which Joe initially rejects. A patient encounter at the free clinic reunites them, and Joe takes Asad up on his offer. As they reflect on their mental and emotional journeys through medical school, they look ahead to their future lives as physicians.
