Where Our Sisters Go

"Where Our Sisters Go" is an adventure/drama feature film about Lilly, a twelve-year-old girl, who runs away from home to live on the Appalachian trail. While hiking the trail, she meets a group of women who teach her about nature, sisterhood, and her own power as a woman. The women Lilly travels with all have a shared traumatic experience: they were sexually abused by a camp counselor in the summer of 2002. Unbeknownst to the unofficial leader of the group, Charlotte, the women are hiking the trail not only to pay homage to their deceased friend Rachel, but to confront their abuser who has gone into hiding in a cabin off the trail.
