Mikoshi Guy (2019)

Japan is facing a demographic change and younger generations are leaving the countryside. Because of that, many local festivals (Matsuri) can not take place. The protagonist Nobuya Miyata is attending 50 festivals a year to maintain the Matsuri-Culture. The documentary movie "Mikoshi-Guy" show how people connect through Matsuri. This bonding power also reaches Europe. *A "Mikoshi" is a transportable shrine.
