Hunt for Worth (2019)

The current age is defined by imposed loneliness, mostly self, spiralling towards finding belonging, if any, in the digital world. Social media, online gaming have eroded the social milieu we enjoyed at the start of this century. This film is about two teenagers that choose to be part of a game challenge, similar to Blue Whale Challenge, run by a curator- Master. Both the teenagers have distinct personalities, one shy-timid, and the other always eager to brave pain. With every challenge the stakes go up, the things that are asked of them start playing on their nerves. They are made to do things they fear most; and in the end they are made to cross paths to decipher the codes carved out on their arms as a challenge previously. Will this game be revering, or will it prey on what they are left with. How far will they go to prove themselves worthy; how far will they drift away from sanity, and at what cost. What is revealed in the end will change their outlook towards each other, towards themselves, and has the potential to change their lives forever.
