Waarom Zou Ik? (2019)

Rietje is an elderly, isolated woman who spends her days watching soap operas. TV offers her something she doesn't dare get in the outside world: real, human contact. When Death comes for her, she refuses to go with him. She doesn't have a lot to live for anymore, but she doesn't have anything to die for either. His repeated attempts to persuade her do something to her. When a young girl dies in front of her home, she finally lets go of her life to accompany this girl in her crossing.
