Our Nowhere Lands (2021)

Our Nowhere Lands, a place without borders, a place where we all belong. This is the story of us, them and other animals. After receiving an award and critical acclaim for his films, Kym wondered what was the point of his life. He left his world, he gave away almost everything he owned, rented his apartment, closed his company and went to collect people's stories. Filmed over 3 years, armed with only a smile and the simplest question, "who are you?" which inevitably led to "who are we?", and "who am I?" This is a re-imaging of Homer's Odyssey, the tremendous journey home of Odysseus. It is told by the stories of the random encounters made, as Kym's own odyssey crossed those of others. These stories are the extraordinary, wonderful, and common accounts that are the voyages of our lives, our similarities to each other, the wondrous nature of the world and our struggles that transcends race, gender, nationality, religion and time.
