Georges Méliès. L'illusione del cinema (2019)

This film is a tribute dedicated to the figure of the French illusionist, director and actor Geroges Méliès, considered one of the fathers of cinematography together with the "Lumière brothers". Méliès directed more than 500 films, he is credited with the invention of fantastic and sci-fi cinema, his most famous work is "Journey into the Moon" in 1902 is the first worldwide film success and first film of science fiction, "Le manoir du diable" is instead considered the first horror film in history.
