At the World Ocean Summit, Sander Van Weert (filmmaker) Nanne van Hoytema, (aquatic biologist) and Thomas van Thiel (founder of By the Ocean We Unite) talked to key players in the field of politics, environmental research and commerce to fully understand the urgency of the situation. They look at what you and I, businesses and politicians can do to save our fragile ecosystem. We intersperse these interviews with visits to local change-makers who are actively fighting to ensure the livelihood of millions of people around the world who depend on the ocean for their survival.
