Simulacra (2018)

After Efrat's untimely demise, her mother Ofra is unable to cope with the loss. With the help of Dana, her other, alienated daughter, Ofra attempts to bring Efrat back to life in the form of a robot that the two build together. However, Dana's motives aren't as pure as they seem. Flooded by memories from her past life, the robot tries to understand who and what she is, and in the process traps Ofra and Dana in a familial struggle of identity, loss and memory. Now, they need to deal with each other's trauma and answer the bigger question: have they brought Efrat back, or have they created something new and dangerous?
