Body of Light (2016)

On an isolated strip of land on edge of the North West Coast of Canada an international artist uses his faith in the creative process to survive his failing kidneys. Here he travels the back woods of his rain forest neighbourhood to visit people he thinks may be able to help with solutions to his crisis. Soon he learns that in order to heal he must leave the story of his life behind and start paying attention to the one that is unfolding right now - right in front of him. Is healing an art rather than a science? Could the application of intense creativity and open-ended exploration lead to the healing of an individual? Body of Light is an artist's flight through the shadowy passages we must negotiate to explore the mystery of healing, its affect on our relationships with one another and with ourselves.
