Journey of John (2019)

A group of friends sit in a bar. One of the friends is peer pressured into eating a large amount of mash potato and sausages. John, the waiter behind the bar makes a playful joke but is only insulted by the bar patrons. A disheartened John walks away. Later, he is unclogging a toilet, his boss storms into the stalls and asks him to take the bins out. Outside the bar, John smokes a cigarette. It's here that he hears a voice whispering "John - John - John" from behind the bins. John turns to see Torboo. A hairless man wearing nothing apart from a loin cloth. Torboo tells John that he is the chosen one and must come with him to receive the 'Gift'. John agrees and together they travel over mountains, hills, bridges until they reach their destination. John is shocked to discover that Torboo has taken John to a derelict building. Torboo runs inside. A nervous John follows. Inside the dark building, John frantically searches for Torboo. Torboo appears out of the shadows and gives John his gift.
