7000 Miles to Freedom (2018)

Story of Nami Kim, an activist who has dedicated her life to fighting the dog meat trade industry in Korea. Over the past 7 years, Nami has rescued over 1800 dogs facing certain death and has also coordinated the logistics of finding them loving owners around the world. This documentary follows our team of three as we travel from Pittsburgh to South Korea to meet Nami, learn about her efforts, and then return to the United States with six of her dogs.
