Licht in het donker (2018)

In January 2009, Dutch hip hop group Zwart Licht released their debut album "Bliksemschicht". With this album they immediately became one of the most promising hip hop acts from the Netherlands. They never fully lived up to this promise and after 2012 they didn't release any music for 5 years. Licht in het Donker documents the creation of their latest album "Bliksem" with which Zwart Licht hopes to put their mark on the Dutch hip hop landscape once again. The documentary traces the roots of the group as well as the making process of the album and shows how influential characters within Dutch hip hop look at the evolution of Zwart Licht and the scene as a whole.
