La Chancletera (2018)

When a greedy landlord attempts to unfairly evict Abuela, she must use the powers of Latino parenting to protect her grandson and her home. She utilizes the immense power of La Chancla to fight for what's right. As a stubborn Puerto Rican, Abuela refuses any help from her grandson, but the end of the day she will need to learn how to accept help in order to defeat her demons.
