San Cayetano (2013)

Geckos, dust, debris and weeds are some of the elements that "decorate" Today the streets of the old and disappeared old San Cayetano, in its platforms where once houses and balconies colonial-style clay tiles were lifted now forgotten looks and the scars of a natural tragedy that the identity of a traditional peasant commune devoured. What happened to San Cayetano? What did an entire population have to do to survive and to continue looking forward to some future, because one day it dawned and the sun no longer drew the shadows of the previous day, but those of a shattered village, leaving cracks, fallen roofs and the uncertainty of a community that had to unite and be stronger than nature to rebuild their lives elsewhere.
