Lohengrin Bayreuth 2018 (2018)

The new production of the opera "Lohengrin" by Richard Wagner opened the Bayreuth Festival in July 2018. The well-known cultural journalist, Wagner expert and Bayreuth connoisseur Axel Brüggemann presented the supporting programme "Bayreuth - The Show" on Sky Arts HD and on Sky 1. In the studio he discussed Richard Wagner, "Lohengrin" and the new production with artists of the Festival and prominent guests, including Désirée Nick, Minister of State for Culture and Media Monika Grütters, the screenwriter, writer and filmmaker Marie Noëlle, the soprano Alexandra Steiner, the bass-baritone Albert Dohmen, the tenor Daniel Behle, the director of the Richard Wagner Museum Bayreuth Dr. Sven Friedrich, the artist Gerhard Batt with his swan Sita and comedian Thomas Hermanns.
