In this travelogue of a failed sadhu Anvesaka returns home to Palakad after 35 years from Himalayas to regain the affection of his people and to die as an ordinary man. He is accompanied by his old pupil Eliyasivam who has now transformed into a fraud who exploits people in the disguise of a holy man.
