The sixties were an age when dictatorship and repression marked the social and cultural life in Spain. However lots of young people who loved rock and roll faced the status quo. Rock and roll music arrived to their ears as if it was supplied in a dropper. But it was also a time where everything was to be done, to be discovered, which was the case of The Sinmarc Company, pioneer of amplifiers in the country, settled in Poble Sec (Barcelona) who challenged the giants of the sector such as Fender or Marshall, for example. The Sinmarc story was at first closely linked to Los Salvajes, one of the first rock bands in Catalonia and slowly they started to manufacture amplifiers to most of Barcelona bands and eventually to other places in Spain during the seventies. The documentary is a sincere tribute to the valve amplifiers and to the beginning of rock music in Barcelona. We focus on Los Salvajes, but we also have the presence of members of some of the most interesting bands of the sixties.
