Waiting for God (2020)

BFI and Film London supported short film. Raymond and Keith are both homeless, variously living on the streets or bunking in Keith's occasional temporary accommodation. Raymond is determined to climb out of the hole they are in and obtain some permanent accommodation, but will the system allow it? Or will he fall foul of it? The directorial debut of celebrated playwright Alecky Blythe (London Road), WAITING FOR GOD uses Alecky's famed verbatim techniques to blend fact and fiction to profound but devastating effect.
