Go Dante Go Go Go (2020)

Go Dante Go Go Go is a self produced movie, realized by Magnetic Head Production in partnership with several Florentine no-profit organizations. The project saw the contributions of more than 60 young men and women, both cast and crew, working together to realize an original, independent and unconventional Italian comedy. Synopsis Dante is a Cinema Studies student outside his prescribed time. His inscrutable and preposterous works are not well received by the professors who, on the contrary, would like him to leave his studies. At home the situation isn't better, his obsessive partner doesn't believe in him and demands him to find a permanent job in order for them to start a family. Backed into a corner our hero tries to escape seeking refuge with Sandro, his old time friend and colleague. In his multi ethnic flat, completely wasted, the aspiring young film director will decide to challenge himself with an impossible filming task: to take part in the Definitive Short Film Festival in all its ten categories, one for every genre; from martial arts to documentary. Without any kind of means or funding, but livened up by his unscrupulous passion, Dante sets up a jury rigging crew and starts to film one short movie after the other. Go Dante Go Go Go mixes the adventures of Dante's unlikely crew with the short movies that are being shot, creating a mosaic of accidents, technical issues and experiments. Will they manage to complete the ten short movie task in just one month?
