Las débiles luces lejanas (the faint distant lights) (2019)

At the end of an era where the cycles of nature have changed and rural towns are abandoned, four farmer brothers: Ovidio, 94; Bibiana, 87; Nicolasa, 85; and Lucio, 84, accompany and help each other to survive. They are the last to remain in a town in empty Spain. A single scenario witnesses the change of seasons, while Lucio struggles to maintain his life as he always was. He gets up early every day and gets on his huge tractor to visit his increasingly less profitable fields, disappearing along with his little town and his generation.
