Naimh Armstrong: On A Different Planet (2020)

A children's sci-fi comedy short about scatter brained 11 year old Naimh Armstrong as she nervously navigates her way through the 'Imagined' alien world of Aim High secondary school. It's her first day in year seven and she has just one simple mission to make it safely through the day without event. Armed with an ingenious special pen she enlists the advice and guidance of her trusty commander and much missed primary school teacher Miss Hussain. We laugh out loud as bumbling and forgetful 'Space Cadet' Naimh tackles an assortment of school related scenarios which often result in unintentional slapstick and drama. We root for her as she navigates her way around a maze of alien school corridors, discovers new ways to learn, bravely takes on unkind students whist making new and interesting friends. With the bulk of her missions accomplished the film ends with an emergency situation forcing her to stand on her own two feet without her special pen and the guidance from her BFF Miss Hussain.
