The film tells the story of a fascinating man - opposition activist in communist Poland - Arkadiusz Rybicki. Rybicki having only 17 years old at the time of December 1970's strikes in Poland urged the workers to fight for independence. He died in a plane crash near Smolensk on 10 April 2010. Unusual is that 40 years earlier on the wall of the Gdansk shipyard he wrote "Do not forget Katyn."
