Women in Africa are burdened with the task of fetching water and care taking the family members. Women and girls can spend up to 8 hours fetching water and doing water related chores leaving them no time to earn money and 1 in 8 girls will drop out of school by the 8th grade. This is the story of a group of women who learned to build water and sanitation technologies to bring health and wealth to their villages. Meet the grassroots women who have brought clean water and sanitation to over 50,000 people in East Africa.
