Akshathe (2016)

This film is loosely based on the real life of IAS officer DK Ravi. This movie will see the comeback of Raaj Suriyan. It also stars Karthik Sheety and Mythriya Gowda. The movie is a thriller with a lot of action packed scenes and an unexpected ending. The movie starts with a mother and her son struggling to make ends meet. The kid, after years of hard work, becomes a district commissioner, and of course, he is honest and has high ideals.Raaj Suriyan also has a meaty role in the movie as he plays an honest police officer who helps Karthik to fight against these goons. Karthik also falls in love . Raaj Suriyan and the others try to help Karthik get out of this muck. Will he get out? The performances are decent, Raaj Suriyan is in many action-packed sequences, and his performance is also quite good. Even though the movie is predictable for the most part, the climax gives this thriller some brownie points.
