Estrangement (2020)

Candace Reed, a woman in her early thirties, single is desperate for a teaching job. She gets a job at the all Catholic high school she once attended as a student. It's the first day of Spring semester. She walks back through the halls for the first time since her years of misery as an outcast. She enters the classroom, begins class and makes eye contact with a young student named Angela whom she recognizes as the daughter she once gave up for adoption. Candace must make the choice to tell her of their relationship, or spend her days hiding the secret from her daughter whom she has to see everyday.
