Rocky Flats

An eclectic group of individuals in Colorado confronts the U.S. nuclear weapons industry head-on, challenging the opening of a Wildlife Refuge and recreation area on contaminated lands in their region. In the process, they draw national attention to the urgent problem of the tons of nuclear waste that sits in the American landscape -- the toxic legacy of the Cold War.
