A documentary devoted to the first four films of Michael Cacoyannis, it calls upon numerous testimonies whose diversity, between former collaborators, critics, historians, filmmakers, actors, allows to complete the vision of the films and to confirm their modernity. After a long stay in England, where he acquired a film culture that can be read in these films, Cacoyannis, a Greek from Cyprus, takes his first steps as a director in Athens.
