The 22-year-olds Alex and Tobbe make up two thirds of the incomplete psych-/cosmic-/hard rock band Oracle's Crown. To Alex, the band is the means to leave their small Swedish town. But they have to get better. Get serious. To Tobbe, it's just the best thing. Playing dope music with his best friend. Here and now. Dissonance of ambition. A friendship with an expiration date, although diffuse as long as they stay away from the subject. But when pressured during an interview with the local newspaper the emotional collision is inevitable. An observational portrait of leaving versus staying in the small town, about the experience, dynamic and drama of playing in a band and about the unseen consequences of a changing global music industry.
